Amari's Songs

Bowls and brushes, pink and white, Headbands on, the towel's warm, Hibiscus, clay, and morning light, Mommy's here, no storm. Chorus: Closer than you think — that's how love will be, Closer than you think — His love for you and me, Mix it, smooth it, laugh a little while, God is in this moment, closer than a smile. Little hands and grown-up hands Stir the same soft rose, Satin ribbons, quiet plans, That's how friendship grows. (Chorus) When the mask is rinsed away, And the towels folded neat, What we mixed will always stay: Love, closer than your heartbeat.

Everybody ready? Let's shine our light! CHORUS Step, step, clap your hands! Step, step, clap your hands! Turn around and smile so bright, We're gonna let our little light shine! Step, step, clap your hands! Step, step, clap your hands! Heart and wings up to the sky, God is with us day and night! VERSE 1 When I wake up every day, God's love helps me find my way. When I'm learning something new, God is always with me too. When I help a friend in need, Kindness is a special seed. Every smile and every cheer, Shows me God is always near. VERSE 2 At the playground, at the park, God's love shines inside my heart. When I'm brave and when I try, Golden light is standing by. Sunny runs and joins the fun, Playing underneath the sun. Everywhere I go I'll see, God's great love surrounding me. FINAL CHORUS Step, step, clap your hands! Step, step, clap your hands! Turn around and smile so bright, We're gonna let our little light shine! Heart and wings up to the sky, God is with us day and night! Closer than we ever think, God's love helps our hearts to shine!
